Charlie Gómez, CEO

A proud El Paso native and Ysleta High School graduate (Class of ’93), Charlie Gomez brings more than 20 years of visionary leadership in architecture, construction, and master planning to his role as President of EP Grotto. With a Bachelor of Architecture earned in 1998, Charlie has built a career rooted in innovation, community development, and design excellence.

Before founding EP Grotto, Charlie served as Senior Vice President of Design and Construction at Mimco, where he led dozens of large-scale projects from the ground up, including tenant improvements and long-term master plans across the region.

In 2010, Charlie was honored as a Ysleta High School Honored Ex, a reflection of his dedication to both professional achievement and local impact. He remains active in the community through volunteer work with the Notre Dame Club of El Paso and as the owner of 915 United Club Volleyball, supporting youth development through sports.

At EP Grotto, Charlie partners with organizations like Ysleta del Sur Pueblo and Mimco to bring bold ideas to life. His vision is to continue fostering innovation and facilitating meaningful growth within the El Paso region.
